What is LUPO?
LUPO is a Bluetooth Smart(TM) sensor that helps to Find, Secure & Control other Bluetooth devices including smartphones and computers. Most Versatile Bluetooth LE Sensor In Its Class SDK: development of a wide range of applications built around the platform. From finding items over securing work stations to controlling devices, LUPO already fulfils an unparalleled spectrum of tasks on both iOS and Android. Beyond lost and found, LUPO automatically locks a laptop (Windows 8.1 – app released in beta), finds use as a remote control for the smartphone camera, and can be easily adapted for new and exciting apps. Range LUPO supports the general Bluetooth Smart™ range of up to 50 metres/ 160 feet (approximate). Note the range is highly dependant on the environment. For instance in free open space you get longer range while it is typically much shorter in enclosed buildings and crowded environment. Compatibility LUPO App works with Bluetooth Smart™, a.k.a. Bluetooth 4.0 / Bluetooth Low Energy phones and computers only. iOS: Works with iOS 7 and above and with Android devices 4.3 and later which support Bluetooth Smart™. Desktop & Laptops: Most modern laptops and Macs have builtin Bluetooth Smart support. LUPO Computer App will work with Bluetooth Smart™ Mac/ PCs. Opportunities
